Privacy policy

KC Mother Care is committed to providing parents with support and advice during pregnancy and postpartum.  

I respect your personal information and all efforts are taken to protect it. The following policy outlines how this is achieved.

As a business I may collect the following information about you which includes:

 - Your name

 - Your contact details including email, mailing address, home address and phone number

 - Your marital status

 - Date of birth

 - Personal information you provide to me when completing forms or in general discussion via the sessions, text messages, emails or social media interactions.

The information collected from you will only be used by me. I may hold, collect and use your personal information to contact and communicate with you, and for the businesses internal record keeping and administrative purposes. This information may be kept for up to 5 years.

I will not disclose your personal information, data or images of you to a third party without written authorization from you. However, if I feel significant concern about your welfare, or anyone else in your family's welfare then I reserve the right to notify Child Safety Services or a family violence service.

I will not publish any images of you on my website or social media account without written authorization. I will not store any of your information on my website or social media.

If you believe that I have breached the Australian Privacy Principles and wish to make a complaint, please contact me and provide me with your concern. I give you a guarantee that this will be investigated and rectified and will follow up with you in writing.

Payment policy

Payment can be made via direct debit or paypal at your request. Invoices will be sent accordingly with these details.

Payments can be made upfront prior to the first postpartum session or in instalments. If instalments, these must be paid in full prior to last postpartum session and a timeline for this can be discussed. Individual invoices will be sent via email 2 weeks before they are due. Your card details will not be requested or required for payment.

Late payment will pause any further sessions until payment is received. If payment is overdue for 2 weeks with no discussed reason a formal letter will be sent. After 30 days of continued no payment further action will be taken to resolve this.

If you become unavailable for an arranged session we will make every effort to reschedule for another time. However you must be aware that I may not have availability to find another time within the same week. These can be rescheduled for any time that we are both available in the first 12 weeks (or beyond) of your postpartum journey.

If you have paid in full, voucher included, and give more than 24 hours notice of cancellation without rescheduling a full refund will be provided for the value of the session.

If you have paid in full and give less than 24 hours notice of cancellation without rescheduling a 50% refund will be provided for the value of the session.

If you have opted for a payment plan and give more than 24 hours notice of cancellation without rescheduling the payment plan will be discussed to reduce the upcoming payments to accommodate a reduction of the full value of the session lost.

If you opted for a payment plan and give less than 24 hours notice of cancellation without rescheduling the payment plan will be discussed to reduce the upcoming payments to accommodate a reduction of 50% of the value of the session lost.

If I become unwell or unavailable at any stage and will not be able to attend the session we will work to negotiate another time for the session. If this is unsuccessful I will provide a full refund if payment for the session has been received. If payment plan is in place the payments will be altered accordingly.

If this contract is terminated for any reason and you have paid in full you will receive a 50% refund for any sessions unattended prior to termination. If a payment plan is in place then this will be reviewed at the time.

I will let you know via text message on the day of the session if I expect to be late, and this time will be made up at the end of the session.

If we find ourselves with a disagreement we will work via negotiation to resolve this.
